My name is William Fridrich, and I am a video game music composer and SFX designer with nearly ten years of experience. I specialize in electronic, retro-style soundtracks with memorable melodies and adaptive audio, tailoring the composition and sound effects to the on-screen action. FMOD Integration For Adaptive OSTs

FMOD is a middleware program that allows for the seamless transition between audio files during gameplay, whether you want sound effects to vary be environment, or music layers to vary by the presence/absence of combat, level of danger, etc. With my FMOD experience, not only can I create the soundtrack and SFX for your project, I can set up their seamless integration within Unreal and Unity for your convenience.

 

In NYHM, both gameplay tracks have three different versions for different gameplay states (normal gameplay, reversed controls, and a pause-screen version) and need to be able to transition between them smoothly, with their accompanied pause/un-pause sound effect. This video is a brief example of how these transitions function in FMOD, and the service I can provide in addition to composing.
